At AP Woodham we are committed to the changing needs of the market and environment. Almost 95% of our packaging volume uses paper products from Mills around the world where sustainability is paramount. The following statement from The Guardian in 2016 is clear and we plan to ‘play our part’ accordingly:
“Plastics production has increased twenty fold since 1964 yet just 5% of plastics are recycled effectively, while 40% end up in landfill and a third in fragile ecosystems such as the worlds oceans”.The majority of our Kraft and food grade papers such as Grease proof and Parchments are sourced from European Mills. All materials we use in our packaging are FDA approved.
AP Woodham is naturally connected to the environmental packaging world needs as its primary substrate is ‘PAPER’ and they consciously work with compostable product that has a distinct lean towards food grade product development. All our raw material suppliers have sound ‘Food grade’ certification and statements. In Print, we use water based inks in processing of all our food packaging product.
